It was a very thorough and helpful overview of drawing fundamentals and I totally appreciated it. Also, enjoyed the beautiful space Miya selected for our independent drawing time. Fun morning!!

Title or Location: In my art studio
Quilling Art, Butterfly by Kim Trost. I have always admired paper art and started quilling less than a year ago. I am a freelance artist. My career concentration is real estate photography but I freelance in water color paintings, graphics and now quilling. It is very calming and I love seeing my completed quilling project. It takes me a few days to complete. I am self taught in all aspects of art and I admire all artwork and the stories of artist.

Title or Location: The art studio (garage lol) and painted there
A landscape painting done in a kind of a traditional way, or not depending on how much of a ?purist? you want to be. Done in oils on a semi dry 16x20 inch black canvas. I started painting things like this a few years ago and only recently started really sharing my art more and more. I?ve been expanding my horizons in art to find my real voice and with every painting, or song, or any other creation I come across in my mind. I love doing these landscape paintings and will always continue to

Title or Location: And so, my love
I have had some luck with abstracts in the past, but got away from them when pet commissions and nature-oriented subjects filled my days. Recently, however, I found myself looking for something different, and I was inspired to get back to this very different way of painting. I'm having fun again! This is one of a series that is coming together, interpreting the emotions of love and longing. I hope you enjoy it, and will check out my web site, and perhaps join my mailing list! LeePerrault.com

Title or Location: Expecting
I have taken a look at the wildlife of Florida, and I have discovered an enormous visual wealth. In this painting I captured a moment of tranquility and peace, predominating the intense green color, which transmits a vibration of vitality and joy. I plan to continue working on this topic and discovering the wonders of The State of Florida.

Title or Location: Bournville Rest house in winter
I took up oil painting after retiring from the the NHS. Bournville looks stunning on a snowy day when the sun is shining. I worked this from a photo I took when the light was perfect. The colours of snow are magical. It is never white. The perspective on the Rest house is quite challenging!

Title or Location: Camden Town
It was my last day on my London trip and I was very depressed. I visit London a lot and am always sad to leave. That day I decided to visit Camden Town because I had never visited that particular part of London. I wasn?t disappointed. It?s a vibrant place filled with art, people on their way to and fro, and markets. I left feeling happy and optimistic.

Title or Location: Walter
Walter was a happy-go-lucky farm dog. He wasn?t the brightest bulb in the box, but his heart was pure gold. Life didn?t start out easy for him. My dad and I found him one winter day, hidden among the snow-covered sage bushes while we were out harvesting for an order. We were both startled when we saw a pair of eyes peeking out from a spot he had burrowed to stay warm. He was painfully thin, his skin sagging on a big-boned frame, and his face was hollow with hunger and fear. It was clear he?d
