Title or Location: And so, my love
I have had some luck with abstracts in the past, but got away from them when pet commissions and nature-oriented subjects filled my days. Recently, however, I found myself looking for something different, and I was inspired to get back to this very different way of painting. I'm having fun again! This is one of a series that is coming together, interpreting the emotions of love and longing. I hope you enjoy it, and will check out my web site, and perhaps join my mailing list! LeePerrault.com

Title or Location: Expecting
I have taken a look at the wildlife of Florida, and I have discovered an enormous visual wealth. In this painting I captured a moment of tranquility and peace, predominating the intense green color, which transmits a vibration of vitality and joy. I plan to continue working on this topic and discovering the wonders of The State of Florida.

Title or Location: Winter Robin
The English Robin Redbreast became synonymous with Christmas during the Victorian era partly due to the bright red uniforms worn by the Royal Mail postmen at the time who were nicknamed robins. They are often seen appearing on Christmas Cards holding an envelope or sitting in a mail box. There are many folklore stories as to how it got its red breast.

Cody was a much loved rescue and brought joy to his family. I felt using soft pastels was the best medium to use and managed to convey his character, which the client loved.

This image was hand drawn and oil painted on a 12x16 canvas sheet. It is in memory of a baby Squirrel that myself and my teenage daughter raised years ago. We called him Icarus.I was Veterinarian Technician at the time and my daughter actually grew up to be a Veterinarian. Such laughs we had with that baby Squirrel!

Title or Location: Snowy River memories
My husband Brenton and I took off just before Christmas to the mountains of the Great Dividing Range, following the Snowy River to the ocean. I took a thousand photos, but wanted to paint one of the stunning memory images I bought with me when I returned home. I love to travel with my husband and paint wherever we go.
